ABOUT KATE
Welcome! I'm glad you're here. I have a BA from Claremont McKenna College in Southern California and a Master's degree in Counseling from Sonoma State University in Northern California. Additionally, I have advanced training from the Portland Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Institute, Portland State University, and Lewis and Clark College. I have specialized training in treating trauma, DBT, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems.

In my work as a clinician, I am particularly interested in working with clients struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, and grief.

I'm honored to be a part of my clients' life-journey. By bearing witness to the story of others, and through experiencing my own challenges, I've developed a deep and abiding love for the goodness in humanity, even in spite of the pain that is inherent in being alive.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I love to run, read literary fiction, immerse myself in nature, enjoy the arts, and spend time with my community. My partner and I live with our two children, two cats, and a dog.
